Here are 3 BIG IDEAS to get you started with taking photos!  

SUBJECT 

Question: What am I taking a photo of?

  • Situation 

  • Thing 

  • Something that looks like my feelings 

 

PERSPECTIVE 

Question: What direction is my camera looking to take a photo? 

Your camera could be looking... 

  • Up 

  • Down 

  • Beside (to the side) 

 

SPACE 

Question: How much space is being taken up by my subject? 

          What else is in my photo? 

In my photo, my subject looks: 

  • Really big (close up) 

  • Small (far away) 

  • Like it takes up about 1/3rd of the space
